As a INTC investor things like this scare me. Weather I lose or gain with an investment in INTC is one thing but to have the U.S. government (FTC) looking real hard at INTC as an unfair competitor when there are very formidable competitors out there is really what bothers me. Intel has enough to worry about in a forward progressing industry such as the one they are in without greedy politicians using tax payer dollars to interfere.

As I peruse this thread for the past 7 or 8 months now I see lots of post from would-be shorts claiming that: "INTC is FINISHED!, the industry has changed, they missed the inflection point, they're going down to $40 and lower, they're a has been product etc etc etc. Then on the other hand the FTC is investigating them cause they are an unfair monopoly who bullies the competition etc etc etc.

Now which is it? are they being treated unfair or are they the bullies or are they no longer a high flying fast wheeling product generating monopolistic genus?

I sure hope this point becomes moot after tomorrow?
