This $100 to $150 million IBM deal sounds suspect. Since Wave will not be selling the chips (they will be manufactured by the likes of SMSC), the only way this information could make sense is if IBM plans to make a major investment in Wave. Wave has apparently been talking with potential partners for this purpose but somehow this sounds like a lot more capital than they would need - certainly $150 million sounds excessive. I have also been informed that Wave doesn't plan to consumate additional financing from any source until the late summer or fall of this year. Wahoograd
