Mike,

You are a gambling man right?

Your short position is based on speculating the price direction and you think it is going down.

FWIW, in my past "trading" experience I usually get burned when I think that I know a stocks price direction based on past movements. I agree that Vivus has had a tendency to go from single digits to the 14 to 15 range since last December. This last time around it moved lower in your favor but not based on fundamentals (we all knew about and expected the Viagra effect and about the AUA presentations long before CNBC decided to point it out to all the non educated "investors").

It seems so obvious to the untrained eye that since Vivus has lost strength after significant gains it will do so again.

I expect to see a sharp rise in the price again followed with some pullback as those who bought in at 9 to 11 sell out because of a weak stomach. Also there will be some selling Monday afternoon as some will have to liquidate positions due to margin calls triggered on last Thursday (NY rules--2 business days).

Maybe this round it will go up and go higher than it has the past 2 times.

You never can tell with this stock.

Have to go now.

BTW Does BOST still sell that delicious spinach side I used to like?
Boy, I sure hope so.
