Jeff, I was reading your threats to Doug R, and other postors with interest. All the lawyers on this thread notwithstanding; all citizens have the right, indeed the duty to bring to the attention of law enforcement any criminal activity that they think might have happened. If there ends up being no truth to it at all in any way shape or form, then there might be a slim chance of a successful case for recovery of damages in a civil forum. But to threaten anyone with legal action or worse for the accusation as you have done, puts you in a bit of a spot yourself. If any of these accusations ends up being true, then your threats against your detractors could be construed as obstruction of justice. If you don't believe me, just ask Sidney Blumenthal re: the Ken Starr investigation. It is one thing to defend yourself if you think you've been wronged, but to threaten those the way you have, puts you in a dicey position if ANY of this ends up being true. As you said in your previous post to Doug R, you didn't read it carefully enough - heat of the moment and all. Trampling on the right of free speech through threats of suits because your a lawyer is NOT smart. If you ask, I'm sure Doug will forgive you. Lighten up bud!! Cube
