All very possible, but the overwhelming speculation that goes on in this thread seems to often mimic pipe dreams more than it does real life. Said comment is not meant to take away from the fact that you are more knowledgeable than some of the goobers that send me mail in here...I would say that whereas trading is about raw greed, M&A is about ego more than greed, and that is an intangible we can place no price upon...and for the seller, the idea of a merger usually translates to a) retirement, b) failure. Do you think ASND is willing to admit failure yet? These guys are too young to retire...
