The marketing push for DVD this fall for Christmas will be intense at Blockbuster Video. Thinh said SIGM's 97 DVD sales were not as robust as planned because of a lack of a consensus at the DVD standards group. Post 33667 on the CUBE thread today leads me to believe Sony and Phillips may be holding out for SIGM while Toshiba pushes CUBE. I'll attend the SIGM meeting Friday 6/12.
