If Novell wants to raise its stock price and reduce the number of outstanding shares, they should just do a reverse split. The stock buy back will cost the company $0.12 a share to their "Free Flow Cash Flow" each year. With a good management team this could go directly to their bottom line against this years earnings!

Novell already has a sizable equity portfolio and IMO really does not need to add to it by buying NOVELL.

JMHO but I think they could achieve a better and more controllable return by using this capital to finance their new construction facilities.

Long term its NETWARE and new products that will determine the true value of Novell. I am still long and waiting to see $20.
