Jade,

Why does it bother you and others when someone sells a stock short? If you know anything about trading and investing, a large short interest is very bullish for a stock's market. It could very well be the ONLY thing that is keeping this stock at its current levels.

What many of us "shorties" maintain is that:

1. The potential market for this "industry" is way overblown.
2. There is a ridiculous amout of hype in these "story stocks."
3. The window of opportunity for this "industry" is not infinite.
4. The underlying companies have marginal balance sheets and core lines of business.
5. In the end, the market will eventually determine the "real value" of a company.

I am sure there are numerous other reasons. I wish I bought the stock at $10, I would sell my shares and then some that I would borrow...maybe from you.

Don't take it so personally. It's nothing more than a difference of opinion with some money attached.
