Hello Preston,

Had a wonderful weekend on an island in the Pacific Northwest. Man was it nice. Hope you had a pleasant weekend as well.

Me? Up to? Searching for that elusive kicker or two to go with P&F charts. Bought the cheap WOW and I've been experimenting with suggestions some very nice people at SI have suggested. Starting to see some very interesting repeating patterns.

I'm looking at what certain indicators are saying when a P&F chart gives double or triple buy/sell and reversal signals. P&F charts are so terrific in that they eliminate the minor market noise and provide these great signals. That's the scan for the short term (one to three week) trading I want to do. What stocks just had doubles, triples, reversals, etc. Then, where's S&R, trendlines, RS and what are my super secret additional indicators saying.

I understand you folks in the "Box seats" get this info (buy/sell and reversal signals) as part of the "First class service." I'm going to stay in the cheap seats and order TechniFilter this week. This SW will provide the referenced signals and let me do backtesing on P&F charts.

If I find the holy grail I'll sell it for a dollar three eighty.

You know, it was very nice meeting you, Jan, Dennis and Tammy in SF. Tammy made a terrific presentation, and kicking around P&F ideas was very educational. What a great way to learn and share ideas.

I hereby nominate Jan to put together the first annual P&F conference in SF. There would be workshops/discussion groups on history, sucesses/failures, trendline construction, patterns, signals, education, sector rotation, on and on.

Do I hear a second?

Take care,

Eric

P.S. Here's an interesting thread for those who might have an interest in discussing or lurking relative to the discussion of TA indicators. Dave and friends have some very informative discussions. www3.techstocks.com
