No, they work on different layers in the software universe, and the SAP management is experienced enough not to consider a "diworsification" into operating systems. SAP is an old story here in Germany, with a market cap north of 50 billion DM it is certainly not at the beginning of its development cycle. And the trailing PE of around 100 is not for the faint of heart either. Have you read Lynch's "One up on Wall Street"? "Beware the next something" is a golden rule. Just like XCIT will never be the next YHOO SAPHY is not the next MSFT.
