LASIK is the procedure, but VISX is the company that owns the first FDA cert. laser. And they get a commission off each operation. So I don't think its full valuation has been reached, but it jumped a lot already this year, so who can tell ? At least it has a real product with a lot of potential demand. There's a thread here, and within it you'll find posts that point to other companies including competitors.
