Early heads-up: LU buys across "pond:" 06/08 03:14 EDT SDX <SDX.L> SAYS AGREES TO BE TAKEN OVER BY LUCENT <LU.N> AT 325P/SHR LONDON, June 8 (Reuters) - British business telephone systems company, SDX Business Systems Plc <SDX.L> said on Monday it had agreed to be taken over by American communications group Lucent Technologies for 325 pence for each of its shares. The offer values SDX's share capital at 124 million pounds. Lucent Technologies comprises what was formerly AT&T Corp's <T.N> manufacturing, installation and Bell Laboratories operations.
