FYI: Rukeyser's guest this past weekend on Wall Street Week recommended Pathogenesis as one of his three picks. He was from the Rainier Fund, Maynard ??? He looks for stocks with good growth and value that are safe, in the small and mid cap sector mainly. He mentioned BF Goodrich and two biotechs: "For those who can tolerate some risk, there are some opportunities in the Biotech sector that we haven't seen in awhile. (Duh!) While the major drug stocks are selling at 25-40 next years earnings, Genetech is 17x next year.
He likes Pathogenesis, which has a drug for Cystic Fibrosis that also seems to work well for TB. And he said it has great management.
