Ampex Web site lists several manufacturing jobs. This forum has shown me to look at the job openings to see a possible direction for a company. For whatever it's worth, I think there were several posts that speculated that AMPEX would be doing manufacturing of Keepered Drives rather than farm them out and even had a building on AMPEX property set aside for that purpose. Has it been confirmed yet that the mysterious building is indeed being used for manufacturing?
