FWIW, there was speculation on the Yahoo Novell thread regarding mention of a Nortel announcement this Tuesday, about forming a big alliance with a software maker. Speculation included MSFT, ORCL, and NOVL. Is this part of the reason for today's excitement, or is it the WSJ and NY Times mention of the share buyback news, and the fact that the big players were on the golf course this past Friday???
