david, if mu was near the trough of their stock pricing and dram was turning and we had 5-6 weeks ahead of earnings and mu told all their analyst buddies what eps will be, uh, i mean give them "guidance," then it would be much greater odds than assuming independence. btw, this news release isn't an accident right now. couldn't sell anything of substance so they sell hype. hey, sell what people want. these guys are great at marketing. so is the devil ;-)
