Robert: PPG might be another company that borders on a desert play. They do have a joint venture with naxos in utah and have staked additional claims for themselves. There does seem to be an ongoing lab or facility on the property that is experimenting with their HY-G Gold Concentrator which is supposed to greatly increase recovery from open-pit type ores. Maybe it is transferable to desert type ores. The president of PPG is John Allen, not to be confused with Herb Allen from Allen & Co, who controls most of the stock of PPG. Off hand I don't know the float but it is extremely tight, ie it wouldn't take alot of buying to move the stock ahead.

A big negative for PPG is they are all over the place with projects in China and a host of other non-mining ventures. It is hard to know their focus and direction: I don't think it's the Utah property they are most devoted to. John Allen seems to a very accomplished businessman and if he focused on the desert property I would see PPG as a good buy because he has a big following....George
