Greg acquisitions come when they happen. I have been in many a stock that was rumored to be a buyout candidate. Some were bought, most were not. One thing is for certain and that is that the timing is based more on the company doing the buying than the company that is being acquired.

So far so good today as we have show some strength resisting any further downward momentum in the recent slide of the stock price. I like how the stock is trading today. However it is still at the same bid and ask as last Friday's close so it remains to be seen if it will make any move in either direction just yet.

One thing to remember is that American BioMed was at one point almost purchased by USS. That acquisition did not happen. But today we have a company that has made lots of progress. There are no signs of any slowdown in industry consolidation. It's my feeling that American BioMed would be a very good acquisition candidate for any number of companies in this industry. Will it happen? I wish I knew.

Regards, Jeff
