Yes, we have all heard of the sicknesses and the recalls...recently, a girl got violently ill from e.coli in her lettuce. Problem is, if these companies ARE doing anything (which it doesn't seem like they are), they aren't talking about it (which may be why it doesn't seem like they are doing anything). I believe they are doing something, but rather than draw attention to themselves in an unwarranted fashion (saying "look what we are doing to prevent salmonella" will only lead consumers to wonder "hmm...they must have a salmonella problem"), these companies are pursuing business surreptitiously. IE, the contracts that OZON announced in which companies cannot be named. I believe OZON will have more business to come, as these recall/illness problems hit the front pages in greater and greater numbers.
