Alan, The point I am making is that you cannot be so dogmatic in your pronouncements about who does or does not have a conscience. Using the image of a baby is an emotional argument. Naturally the tiny growing fetus resembles the human body. The same way that the fetus in any human animal resembles the host body. A monkey fetus resembles an adult monkey in the same way a human fetus resembles an adult human. This proves nothing. It is still a biological growth in the mothers body. It is part of her body. She has complete control. It is debatable at what point the fetus becomes an independent human being. Many believe that does not happen until birth. I believe it's the Supreme Court's duty to decide this matter. They've chickened out to this point. The human fetus is viable at different stages of development, that might be the reason the court has delayed this important decision. take care, Ann
