I just came back from 4 days at COMDEX. I used to own a lot of AMD that I sold 2 1/2 years ago for $29 a share. You are smart to have doubled your money on AMD, but the poor guy that payed $29 two years ago has a long ways to go! I can assure you that all the AMD hype about the K6 chip will fizzle, and the stock will go back down where you bought it! Why bet on a loser that builds a "pentium like kludge" with 8mil transistors? AMD did not produce a show to back their K6 claims. They really didn't give much info on when they would be able to launch their assalt on Intel. Just a helpfull comment from an investor, who has been there done that, and whose total portfolio is up 138% since Jan 1st. Free advice! humble carl
