Divx may not be a bad idea.

The large OEMs (Sony, Toshiba...) rather use their own solutions and they oppose to Divx for the reason of cannibalism. That gives second tier companies a chance to manufacture Divx and using Ziva. If Divx flies (strong Hollywood support), it will give C-cube a chance to sell a lot more chips.

Divx revolutionizes the shopping habits. People may be reluctant to adopt. But it is the future way of shopping (similar idea to e-commerce).
