>> I find the fact that the SEC was investigating the Solv-Ex process by talking to both foreign competitors
and short whores a totally unique process<<

The NASD logs available at ABQ Bankruptcy court - would indicate that SEC staffer Ozals did meet with meet with Tipman on 5/06/97. Tipman's actual client in his numerous correspondence is never clear. The SEC has not made much of it's investigation public (or at least not in court filings). I do not know of any public documentation supporting that they met with the "short whores". For that matter I cannot say with certainty that Tipman is one of the SEC "experts" without whom they cannot complete their investigation. Till this SEC expert(s) is revealed I will refer to him/her as the "smoking man".

Assuming the appeal of Judge McFeeley's initial injuction is upheld at the Appeal Court level as it was Judge Vasqez. Does the SEC go back home to Washington and try sell this to the Supreme Court?
