Such a shame that the article was allowed to be published. How does one couple Jaguar CTS with ASE? Very different products solving different problems. You could even use Jaguar to work with ORCL if you wanted!! sad... Secondly, by the authors own admission, the SQL elements he liked were proprietary. Sorry but in todays world proprietary does not cut it! Even my recently vocal counterpart would agree with that. Perhaps the proof will be if Jaguar succeeds with pure CORBA or if OAS with its JCO pseudo CORBA. On the subject of replication... there is a reason why SYBS has no real competition in this area. It is hard. It requires thought and planning. SYBS is the undisputed champ in this area. Thanks for the article reference. syborg
