ProNetLink(R) Update
NEW YORK, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- ProNetLink, www.pnlk.com or www.pronetlink.com (OTC Bulletin Board: PNLK - news), the world's largest import-export webtool, has prepared this update for investors, members and strategic partners.
ProNetLink is now 3 weeks old as a live website. It has achieved many of its initial goals as set forth in Phase 1 of development. The site was delivered May 15, as promised. In addition the financials, while not required by the SEC, were released to the public.
ProNetLink is now actively into the development of Phase 2 of the site. While many of these new elements could have been included in Phase 1, ProNetLink felt had it waited the additional 6-8 weeks needed for development, the marketplace would not have reacted positively to the delay.
Below is a list of enhancements that have been added or are in final development:
1. Free text search of the data base. This was delayed due to a correction that had to be made to the data base. Updating close to 3 million corporate records takes some time and now it is very close to being completed. Members will be able to search without using SIC codes. The updated system will also allow members to search on one field instead of the two fields currently needed.
2. Compliance and forms Section. We have been working very closely with Unz & Co. on the development of this section. In fact, this section is now much more user friendly and in depth then originally designed. This one feature alone will set ProNetLink apart from any potential competition and will in itself be worth more than the dollar a day membership fee.
3. Daily trade news. This feature has been activated and 3 times a day it is updated with current news from around the world.
4. Digital Internet Printing. This feature is in development and will be released shortly allowing companies from around the world to digitally send their printing jobs through the Internet to New York for ''Print and distribute'' capabilities.
5. SWIFT transfer. This international payment option is being added and should be on line this week. This feature comes in response to a request from the European marketplace.
6. Strategic Partnerships. ProNetLink has had meetings with a number of companies and associations that are considering strategic partnerships with the project. We hope to be able to announce the results of those meetings in the near future.
7. Marketing. The main marketing program has been delayed to tie into the completion of Phase 2 of the development program. After a long review it was decided that it was in ProNetlink's best interest to wait until the site had the ''bells and whistles'' it has been designed to have prior to a major marketing program. We have reviewed all of the email comments that have come to us and we agree that the power of ProNetLink comes with Phase 2. With that in mind, the marketing program will begin in July/August.
In the meantime, ongoing marketing and public relations is continuing. Recently ProNetLink has been discussed on CNBC and The Wall Street Journal.
8. General site enhancements. Our web development company has been working to optimize all elements of the site and changes are being added daily.
In the end ProNetLink has delivered to our investors and to our members every element that has been promised ... on time. We continue to develop the site and we continue to get positive feedback from the global trade industry. Our mission is to stay focused on the big project and to steer away from the distracting daily ''gossip'' that seems to always surround any new concept in business. Recently it had been mentioned on an Internet Bulletin Board that Jean Pierre Collardeau, President and CEO of ProNetLink had started a second website company. This is not true. What is true is that Mr.Collardeau's son has started a company and Zagoren-Zozzora, Inc. will assist him in development and marketing. Mr. Collardeau has remained completely focused on ProNetLink which is where his expertise lies.
Mr. Collardeau, the ProNetLink Board of Directors, Zagoren-Zozzora, Inc. and all of our strategic partners strongly believe in ProNetLink. The near future shows very promising additions to the site and to the business of ProNetLink. We thank you for your support and vision.
