How long have you been following ASND? Before the bottom dropped out in the latter part of last year a 4 1/2 point rise in one day was not unusual. In fact I seem to remember a few occasions it rose over 5 in one day.

This year, the best positive day was 3/6 (+2 5/8) and the most negative day was 3/2 (-2 3/8). It has had 8 out of 105 trading days (<10% of the time) where the change was greater than 2 (positive or negative). New market, new year, and I would say the facts support that a stock jumping 10% on a competitors buyout is nothing more than rampant speculation; i.e. not very credible information...
