Dear R L H odges, Welcome to the CWEI thread--our thread is your thread, excuse the pun. Looking forward to the road ahead--looks like a good one. Now for some great news--I have been lobbying the Investors Business Daily to change their 0.85 estimate on Clayton Williams. Eureka!!! I just received this: Customer Service Representative wrote(IBD): In response to your e-mail, we have double checked the earning estimates. It appears that analysts expect 29 cents in the fourth quarter which contradicts our annual estimate. We will revise our annual estimate to be more in line with reality and your comments timely estimate updates will be forwarded to William O'Neil. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Steve Education Department(IBD) The above means that in the next day or two, the annual estimate for CWEI will go from 0.85 up to $1.25 in the Investors Business Daily and then when the new earnings estimates come out in the next week, or two, we can get them updated again. The most important thing is I now have Steve's direct Email address. Glad you are aboard R L H, Buzz Mills
