Paper man Maybe I'm confused, but I don't think the article was very specific in terms of the study. It indicates that only 21 opted to stay on the treatment, but there were only 21 on the treatment to begin with (22 on a placebo). Of those 21, 12 are alive and continuing treatment, some (?) died who were in the advanced stages, and at least one 'was well enough to move on' (not the exact quote). I just think the article did not present the info properly and in the continuing studies, if patients are treated early enough and compared to a placebo group properly (by the media), I think we will see a totally different reaction.
