Why CCSI is a fraud.

I turn everyone's attention to today's press release:

biz.yahoo.com

I am particularly interested in the following two excerpts:

<<As previously publicly disclosed, the Company continues to be engaged in late stage negotiations with potential manufacturing and distribution partners>>

<<The Company noted that there is a large short position in the market for it stock, which could account for the trading activity.>>

The essence of CCSI's fraud can be found in these two comments. CCSI has fraudulently promoted it's color technology from day one, first by grossly overestimating the potential market for a bilirubin monitor and then leaking news of impending manufacturing "deals" which never seem to materialize, and even if they do materialize, really have no bearing on what future revenues/earnings may be. This is very similar to the Zitel fraud. The company's executives and its paid stock touts would repeatedly allude to contracts or deals followed weeks or months later by a press release which would quickly tank the stock as the reality of the news would pale to the hype.

It's also been my experience that when the management of these questionable companies issue press releases based on movement of the stock price...particularly if they make references to short-sellers - then it is a clear signal that they are more concerned about the stock price machinations instead of concentrating on their business.

CCSI is a fraud. I stand by this statement and fully expect the company to trade in the low single digits.
