Steven - gotta tell you that notwithstanding sentiment in the market (which may move these stocks to Presstek like peaks) the facts of the matter are that most respected sober tech analysts who aren't compromised (like Slocum at SoundView is) think these stocks are grossly overvalued even at current levels even with the most optimistic picture for the internet and telecommunications bandwidth upgrades. Murphy thinks they're grossly overvalued. Johnson ditto. McNamee ditto. Plus there are all sorts of private companies which may just get bought for their technology by the big guys. (I mentioned Tut Systems previously). Westell is now talking about <$1000 per line - this is a joke. No wonder Cowen downgraded.

Your opinion on OMKT is complete nonsense (no offense). There is so much good technology out there public, private, and in someone's garage or academic lab that the whole e-commerce game is completely unpredictable. Anyone public traded with any sort of respectable valuation who is focusing on this area could easily be shorted for the long term with impunity if it weren't for the possibility of getting margin called out because of the crazies who bid these stocks up. I use to work next door to OMKT and their software is boring uninspiring utilitarian and any one of hundreds of graduate student lab groups could have invented far better.
