Yet Mormons ARE considered christians! And at various times during the last handful of centuries you could make the same statement about the Lutherans, the Protestants, the Anglicans, the Methodists, the Puritans, the Apostolics, the Baptists, etc., etc., etc.
Above them all is the original Catholic (universal) church that at one time condemned them all. And there's no denying the Catholic church was the original christian church that all other christian sects splintered off from.
