FREMONT, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- EROX Corporation (Nasdaq: EROX - news) announced initial shipments of its new line of REALM(R) candles to Dillard's Department Stores (NYSE: DDS - news) and Mercantile Stores (NYSE: MST - news). REALM candles incorporate the Company's synthesized human pheromone technology, a technology covered under U.S. patents.
Initial shipments of REALM candles have been made to 137 stores in the Little Rock, Fort Worth and Florida divisions of Dillard's, and to 101 stores in the Mercantile chain. The candles will be displayed in proximity to the REALM fragrances already carried by the stores and are intended to complement the fine fragrance offerings. The candles incorporate both of the gender- specific male and female human pheromones used separately in REALM fragrance products for men and for women.
Commenting on the news, William Horgan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, ''The launch of Realm candle products is consistent with our strategy of increasing the use of our patented pheromone technology through a broad range of consumer products.
