Geezus, I am getting sick of these "puff pieces" on Y2K. Few people are fully analyzing the havoc this "glitch" will play in foreign economies. While the US, Canada, and the UK, are certainly ahead in remediation efforts, the rest of world is either distracted with merely staying out of all out recession/depression, or playing around with the fanciful idea of the Euro-dollar. And any textbook in Ecnomics101 will tell you that we live in an interconnected world of just-in-time inventory. Take a look at Fortune magazine, April 27th edition for some comments from those actually dealing with the problem. GM's CIO publicly stated that GM faces catastrophic problems in ALL of their manufacturing centers. Oh well.... Regards, Ron
