To All: Have you ever had a stock that you consistently loose money on, one which is your own personal bad luck stock? If I have one, it is Edify - sold off half this AM. This, the latest of a long line of poorly time EDFY transactions. I would have held the stock but I just can't see this company ever making it long term. Its an internet play that has never had its day even when it was one of the first out there. With all the bank mergers, doesn't it look like their potential market here is getting smaller. Also, they also have big competition in the employee self service market from SAP, BAAN and PeopleSoft who offer ESS in their packages. As far as generalized web building applications, there must be hundreds of companies that sell software or services to do just that and edify's entry here is expensive. Some web developers on the project that I am on looked over Edify and thought it good 1)but, too expensive, it busted their budget and 2) didn't let them easily tweek their applications outside the parameters as defined by the edify developing universe.
