Chris - In my opinion, the missing ingredients are revenues (in hand), and solid revenue and earnings growth, both of which I think will come as time goes on.
When you don't have big money, and you're trying to play in the entertainment business (especially as a newcomer who is trying to influence a shift in thinking about something that has been tried several times before; 3D mainstream entertainment), you definitely have to prove yourself. The Belize project is NVXE's first opportunity to prove themselves.
For now....
1) NVXE has signed some good people onto their team. 2) They have obtained funding for their first project, and the project has been pre-sold. 3) That project will be useful in selling other special venue projects, which should generate more income, and build more credibility. 4) According to last year's press release, Duke Films is looking to do a full length feature film (in 3D)...I like the sound of that. 5) Don't forget Star Satellite, which once the merger is completed, will add significant revenues and profits to NVXE's bottom line - immediately. 6) Sound City Studio is a wild-card at this point.... but I can envision the potential
For those thinking NVXE is going to go through the roof because of the recent Ducommun and Belize releases, I think you're fooling yourselves. However, if you're thinking that these press releases may indicate NVXE is beginning to implement a well thought through business plan...then I think you're more on target.
For those who still aren't sure what they're buying into if they buy NVXE..... I understand that....like many cautious investors I like to see, touch, and smell what I'm buying before I buy it. That's why I went with Gary Loomis to visit with NVXE management and to review their technology; something I'm sure would reassure most investors who own or are looking to buy NVXE. Given time I think those who need more of a story will get one...., but the likely tradeoff may predictably be "lost price appreciation in exchange for an increased comfort factor". But we each knowingly accept that trade-off.
Before anyone judges NVXE too harshly, just remember they haven't even gotten on the plane to head down to Belize.... Prior to this they didn't have any money to produce ANYTHING. Let's give them time to get this first film shot and in the can, pre-produced, and in front of the public, and then lets talk about their future....
It takes time to make money, for them, and for us...... |
