>Yen passed 140 Hong Kong is not an exporting country -- so there is not a lot of pressure to devalue the Hong Kong Dollar. China on the other hand is a different story. I expect China to devalue the Yuan gradually in the near future. I'm somewhat hedged against the HKD though -- as a good chunk of my salary is pegged to my apartment rent.
