Intel did not cut off supplies to DEC. There was a contract that Intel honored. DEC threatened to sue IF Intel cut off supplies. This made for a very interesting set of claims by DEC. 1. DEC insisted that Intel stop manufacturing Pentium & Pentium II chips due to alleged patent infringement. 2. DEC insisted that Intel continue to manufacture and supply DEC with Pentium & Pentium II chips under threat of anti-trust action if they should refuse. Most strange. EP
