Brocade and McData as private companies are not bound by such restrictions and may release whatever they wish at any frequency to the media" Could we please quit making excuses for them? They haven't delivered and they haven't 'bragged' about anything because they have nothing to brag about. And yes, they can brag. You may recall the laughable press release from last fall about being 'first'. It is 9 months today since they have released their last product and they haven't sold a single unit yet. I quess they are still trying to make it work and that's why we haven't seen anything new(you may recall from Oct conf call the 32 port version to come out by the end of Q1). So Cal is going to straighten out the author of IW article. Great. I don't think that was the question being asked of him. How about getting a new, perhaps sellable product out instead? And I disagree with you. If they don't win IBM they will not amount to anything.
