Terrence, I have many other authors that I read. Even fiction and classics. I have read every one of Steinbeck's books to show you that I can also be an earthy type that recognizes emotions and lust for someone or something. To understand life, not only do you have to read it,in some cases you have to live it. My search for God has taken me through and out of denominations and I am satisfied with what is left. That of a grace believer and a Berean. I read and study C.R. Stam and Paul Sadler, two well known grace teachers. It makes sense because it is sound doctrine that does not mix grace and legalism as most of the Christian denominations do today. They hang their hats on the four Gospels and prefer to stay away from the Epistles of Paul. Paul stated that cursed is he that preaches any other Gospel other than the one that the glorified Christ gave to him but our church leaders love to be deceived and to deceive members by mixing grace and works. Did you know that the first 5 books of the New Testament weren't even written until the Apostle Paul's ministry and writings were virtually completed in the mid-60s? Any way these books were not even addressed to the Body of Christ to whom God called Paul the human progenitor? Well, anyway not to bore you, I just didn't want you to think that I decided overnight to become a follower of Christ. Many things occuring in my life directed my path to the point I am now at. It is not ignorant to depend upon a loving creator that gives you peace and freedom from guilt because you know that he has felt every emotion that we humans have felt and like it or not, many millions have found purpose and direction where before, they went through life like a ship without a rudder. Wishing you all the best. God bless, Santiago
