Skeeter, you are wise not to short. MU is in pretty deep kimchi, no doubt. And they probably will not be able to migrate to 64Mbit DRAM by the end of this summer, a major bummer for them. AS for TI, if there is a deal it will be lock stock and barrel. That is how TI operates. I live close to where a TI plant was located for 20 years in Lewisville, TX. Last year, an announcement was made that Raytheon was taking over certain parts of TI's business. Later that week, the sign in fron of the complex had changed to Raytheon. Nothing else changed. I am not saying that MU will shoot back up to 94 this week. But it has ended it's death spiral. Long term valuations can be attached to this going concern (if the deal goes thru and or the 64mb setup goes well).
