>>A few facts: $4000 invested a year ago is worth about $75 today (approximate numbers). 4000 shares purchased a year ago represent 200 today. Share dilution has been phenomenal. The company has shown a history of complete disregard for shareholder value. Insider trading has been extremely high. So-called mega-deals, along with PR firms, have come and gone like the wind. Higher production numbers have been promised for ages.<<

The company was a startup oil and gas company. If you invested in it at the beginning then you were naive if you expected immediate results. If you had averaged down this year starting in March you would have an excellent opportunity to make a profit. Higher production numbers are coming in. You can moan and groan all you want to, the facts are there for all to see Oilex is growing.

>>I've read where you've stated to some that it is their fault they lost money because they should have averaged down. Nothing personal, but that's about the most absurd thing I've ever heard. <<

No it is not absurd it is the only way to make this kind of play pay off in the long run. If you don't take advantage of the stock at these prices you are crazy.

>>The only reason these people (myself included) lost money is because they bought a complete dog of a stock, not because they failed to average down. Likewise, as we watch, it's still fading. Averaging down would only add more pain to a long and painful ride.<<

It would turn a loser into a winner. You are too scared to do it. If you don't have the stomach for this kind of investing then stop posting here.
