Stephen - Re: "Craig Barrett never envisioned he'd inherit these rotten conditions for the company..." Barrett took over control of the Intel wafer fabs in 1985/1986 at the very bottom of a downhill slide in quality and yields. He helped build Intel back up to where it is today in manufacturing. So, I think he has experience in raising the dead and reviving the company from severe problems. I sure hope things get no worse for him, Intel and us. Paul
