A biotechnology company of which I am aware (I am a shareholder) has a need for funds. The company has a treatment for auto-immune diseases. They have successfully tested their treatment on diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other auto-immune diseases (including Aids). Some reports indicate dramatic improvement. Patients reportedly have remained in remission for extended periods.

The head scientist is internationally known and published. The company has been in existence for over 10 years. The company's personnel have been working without salary in furtherance of their science.

The core problem is the need to convert the polyclonal human protein antibodies that are used in the treatment to monoclonal. This is to avoid rejection from repeat use. To convert to monoclonal is expensive. The company will then need to engage in Phase II testing to get FDA approval.

I have heard various figures, but believe they will require in the neighborhood of $5 million. I would like to help them find capital. Hopefully, an angel will, upon investigation, wish to support their scientific effort. A business plan is available. The market for a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis is, by itself, enormous. I can put any interested party in touch with the company. I am interested in direct interest, comment, or direction.
