PitBull, maybe a little background is in order. You have to go back to the JAVA thread to see recent history: exchange2000.com . The following is some background of what VPRO is about: biz.yahoo.com . I was told as of the end of the year that the coffee business of JAVA was doing well, but growth was limited. VPRO is a move to use JAVA as a shell to absorb a promising private company, the insecticide outfit. This merger was engineered by Bishop Management who holds most of the stock. I assume that they will do the right thing for this stock. I'm not sure on how many shares are outstanding, there were only 700k after the JAVA reverse split, but the CEO may have paid himself and the IR outfit (who has been next to useless) with stock. I was told by IR that they expected to have a $5 stock, but I suggest caution, they have been slow to realize progress. I know that the insecticide business exists and is a neat niche operation. Much like the coffee business? There was talk about there being a large naked short position left over from JAVA (CEO was suing an MM). If true, that could have an explosive run on any serious buying. Notice the large spread and the MM refusing to raise the bid. Caution is advised on this guy, but a small speculative position at this price may pay off handsomely. I am holding and waiting this out because of Bishop Management. I don't think they would shoot themselves in the foot.
