ChartMan, that was a superb post. Just finished speaking to the Small Business Administration here n NYC. An 8a program is a federally-sponsored program to hlp minority groups bid for and obtain contracts that they otherwise would have NO CHANCE to obtain. The gvt. actively worksin their behalf. The persn to whom I spoke said that this program gives these companies a "Bbig advantage" in securing contracts. I also checked the Milvets site. I noticed that since they are part of the American Small

Business Association, they have access to over 500k people and comanies thru mailings each month, and they also have access to a press release service which mails out to 5000+ journalists and publications. So, if infe can access this thru Milvets, they can get quite a bt of additional exposure in some important channels.
