DEAR TOMATO HEADS: Serious Matter
Quick Story: When my Mother bought McDonald's stock, it seems like every meal came from McD's. When she bought Walmart, that was the only place she shopped. She said that if she was going to own a company the least she could do was support it in any way she could, no matter how small the gesture.
Point: If we are going to own FNTN and if we are going to profit from FNTN, then we need to use FNTN as often as possible from this moment on. The name of the success game for FNTN is the amount they can charge their advertisers. That pricing power comes from "HITS" and downloads. Nothing more, nothing less. The more hits, the more measurable consumer interest the more they can charge. It is also the way that they attract bigger and bigger clients. If you want this investment to succeed to its maximum, then you and I must use it for all of our financial needs.
Things We Can Do: I am not advocating sitting in front of a screen and flipping in and out all day because that will skew the data is just plain not right. I am saying there are things you can do that are legit and necessary. I have set the preferences in my Netscape to FNTN as my home page. That way, everytime I boot Netscape, FNTN comes up first and I can immediately check whatever I need to check. For the newbies, put the FNTN site under your "bookmarks" so you have easy access. If you are on a friend's computer take them over to FNTN and give them a look see. Finally, and this is an important one, check the site everyday for things that you would like to see added to the site. What are the things that you need to have on FNTN that you are currently going to other sites for. If they are going to build a site that will be all our financial needs under one roof, they need to hear from you and me. They need to hear what you want. They need to find out the things that you need and are having to go elsewhere. However, please note, they are in the middle of set-up hell at the tech center so they can't handle an overwhelming amount of calls. This will only delay things.
Suggestion: If you see something you would like FNTN to consider, send me a private message and I will collect all the suggestions and send a condensed version to FNTN. Also, if you see a problem with the site, let me know and I will call the company. (We have already found one page that needs to be reformatted and they are on it.) However,if you have specific Company questions, please call them directly as I am not and will not be a Company spokesman. I will simply pass on suggestions and problems to them.
