It is not Kubrick,not 2001,but it is still a 1st rate,deep,thought provoking movie,I would put it as number 10 in my ten best sci-fi's I have seen,of which I have seen about every one ever made---also HAL9000 in which the central character,a computer has a baby via a woman--again this movie is not trash,and extremely thought-provoking--MAX9000,a connoisseur of Sci-Fi movies.MAX9000
