In you list of 5 points that "us shorties" maintain, you left out the most important point... but in a round about way mentioned it in your commentary afterwards when said you "I wish I bought the stocks at $10 I would SELL my shares..."

I hardly do ANY investing at all other than shorting... this week I traded 13 stocks - (12 stocks shorting) (only 1 long)... 10 of the shorts were profitable and I think it is because MOST investors tend to SELL when they have a made a healthy profit... and if they don't sell many have stop-loss orders in place to try and preserve most of their profits.... so the #1 reason to short is because "we shorties" know that folks who have made a profit have a tendency to SELL and take that profit. I just wondering if ANY of the people who owned Zitl at $10 are still around? Which brings up the second biggest reason that high flying stocks crash and burn... FEAR - the folks who bought them when they were high begin to realize that there isn't going to be a "greater fool" to pay them more for that stock... so they are in just as much panic to cut their losses and run as those who are in a panic to save their gains!
