Hi viper, I don't know what Apache's "programmed" completion is. I'd need to be in contact with an "insider" to have that kind of info!!!! But, I'm pretty sure their program will be fairly similar to a normal industry completion procedure, which would include the following key steps: - perforate the prospective pay interval(s) of interest (Swan Hills??) - swab (or blow) down the load fluid after perforating if necessary - attempt a short "clean up" flow (Note: This will be the first scoutable flare at the site) - dependent upon the tubinghead pressure drawdown and the gas flow rate during the clean up flow, decide if an acid job is required - acidize if necessay - perform another short "clean up" flow (Note: This will be the next scoutable flare) - shut in the well long enough for the reservoir pressure to build back up to "virgin" condition - run and hang pressure recorders near bottom of tubing string - begin "Production / Flow Test" (Note: There will be several lengthy "flares" to scout during this test.) As you can appreciate from the above, the actual production test may not occur until late this week. But, there will still be "useful" flare information available before then. Later, grayhairs
