proposed legal settlement between jerry and shi shi:
SETTLEMENT AND APOLOGY
FROM SHI SHI TO JERRY
WHEREAS, on the weekend of Saturday, June 6, 1996, Shi Shi hung up on Jerry three times for no apparent reason; and,
WHEREAS, on said date, Shi Shi also referred to Jerry as a "mining economist", it is HEREBY AGREED between Shi Shi and Jerry that:
1. Shi Shi shall submit an apology to Jerry which states: "Jerry, I am so sorry for insulting your good name and hanging up on you three times. My behavior was that of a total Jackass and I humbly beg your forgiveness. I promise this will never happen again. I am a good man -- not an asshole."
2. Shi Shi will transmit the above form of apology (or form satisfactory to Jerry) to Jerry via on-line email, originating from the Shi Shi's own email address (not his son's).
